    CEO and Managing Director

    Sam Santhosh is the CEO and Managing Director of Calsoft; the company he founded in 1992. Focused on leading Calsoft to achieve improved growth in revenue and profitability; Sam oversaw the growth of Calsoft in all key areas – Finance, Strategy and Customer acquisition. Calsoft went public in the year 1996 and today employs over 1000 people in 12 global locations.

    Sam started the company with a strong technology focus to deliver value-added solutions to U.S customers. His technology vision saw him creating a new range of products in the CAD viewer market. In 1995, he led his team to visualize, develop and market the Dr.DWG suite of products and redefined the entire CAD Viewer market in the U.S. Having gained expertise in product development and sensing a market opportunity for software product development services, Sam focused on technology companies. Under his leadership Calsoft became a leading player in the technology arena in the Silicon Valley with names like Sony, Nortel Networks, EMC, Kronos, HP etc as its customers.

    Under Sam’s vision Calsoft metamorphosed from a niche player in the Silicon Valley to a global player providing a range of service offerings. The year 2001-2002 saw Calsoft emerge as a preferred offshore development partner. The company set up successful ODC’s for customers like Kronos and Nortel Networks. Sam further increased the breadth and depth of Calsoft offerings by stepping into the enterprise space with a dominant presence in the UK market.

    Over the years Sam has led the company’s growth both organically as well as through acquisitions and strategic partnerships with global leaders. From the year 2004 to date Sam has directly overseen the acquisition of 5 companies. He has been instrumental in positioning and integrating the acquired companies and their services under the Calsoft group umbrella, thereby resulting in positive synergies. He is the architect of the Calsoft group and oversees its functioning out of Fremont California.

    Sam has an engineering degree and an MBA (majoring in Management Information Systems) from India’s premier institute IIM, Calcutta.

    As CTO, Ramandeep is driving the engineering teams & strategic planning activities for Calsoft Labs. He joined the Calsoft Labs management team from Aspire Communications; a subsidiary of Calsoft Labs. Ramandeep has over twenty years of experience in data networking, telecommunications and semiconductor technologies and as a senior level executive he managed strategic planning, business development, engineering and marketing related activities at various companies.

    Prior to joining Aspire, Ramandeep was marketing and operations head at Luminous Networks and before that he was CEO of Corona Networks. He also worked at Nortel, Bay Networks, Mitsubishi, VLSI Technology and LSI Logic. Ramandeep holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.

    Glen oversees Business Development and Marketing activities at Calsoft Labs and California Software Co Ltd (Calsoft). He is focused on expanding software development opportunities globally and launching Calsoft Labs new e-Business tools.

    Glen has more than 25 years experience as a business executive and consultant in Silicon Valley. He has founded several technology companies and helped many others raise venture funds and take their products to market. Glen's marketing expertise spans hardware, software, networking services and e-Business solutions. Glen attended the University of San Francisco and California State University, Los Angeles. Has a degree in Political Science.

    Mr.Rathnakumar Kayyar (RK)

    As the Vice President Engineering at Calsoft Labs, Rathnakumar Kayyar (RK) is in charge of the NGDC Group, His responsibilities include overall implementation of networking projects and Research & Development of new technologies.

    RK joined Calsoft Labs/Calsoft through the acquisition of WebSpectrum Software Pvt Ltd in 2005. He was the co-founder and CEO of WebSpectrum.

    RK has about two decades of experience in the IT industry. He started his career as a software developer. He worked with Hewlett-Packard for many years and was associated with the OpenView program. When OpenView was launched in India, he actively worked towards promoting the product.

    Before founding WebSpectrum in 1997, RK was the CEO of Supernova Software, a company he founded with a team of IT professionals in 1987.

    RK holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Mysore University.

    Mr Tom joined Calsoft Labs in May 2005 and is responsible for the worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Engineering of System Software solutions using Phoenix Technologies’ products.

    As a Premier Partner of Phoenix Technologies, Ltd in the Americas, Mr Tom manages the strategic relationship between CalSoft Labs and Phoenix Technologies, Ltd.

    Mr Tom has over twenty years of industry experience working with various ecosystem companies such as Dell, Intel, AMD, IBM, SMSC, NCR, and Hewlett Packard.

    From 2003-2005, Mr Tom was Strategic Business Development Manager at Vibren Technologies. From 1999-2003, Mr Tom was Director, Worldwide Field Application Engineering at Phoenix Technologies. Prior to 1999, Mr Tom has held various Sales and Engineering positions within Phoenix Technologies.

    Mr Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from California State University.

    As Vice President of Security and Mobile Solutions, Anant Kharche is responsible for business development of product engineering services in networking, security and mobile technology areas.

    Anant brings over 19 years of telecom, networking, security and mobile technology product’s engineering/management experience along with software services experience from various companies including large corps like Nokia as well as start-ups.

    Prior to joining Calsoft in Nov 2007, Anant was Vice President, Telecom Solutions and Delivery at S4 Connect Inc. and before that managed VPN, Security product-line development at Nokia. He started as R&D engineer at HCL Ltd and then architected and developed SONET/SDH product Software at C-DOT India. He lead various telecom & networking software projects at DUET Tech Inc and also built a Unified Network Security Product at a start-up iPolicy Networks.

    Anant holds Bachelor of Engg degree from VNIT Nagpur and M.Tech. degree in Electrical Engg from IIT Kharagpur, India.

    As Vice President of Embedded Software Solutions, Michael Nottage is responsible for the world-wide sales of Calsoft’s Embedded Solutions which include Adobe products.

    Michael has over thirty years of sales success including eight years with Xerox and over twenty years with NEC. During these 30 years Michael has been directly responsible for sales of over one billion dollars of hardware and software solutions. Prior to joining Calsoft, Michael was the Director of Sales at Vibren Technologies, Availant Corp. and NEC.

    Sanjiv has over 16 years of experience in sales and marketing in the IT industry, having worked in India and Europe for companies like PCL, Datamatics, Blue Star Infotech and Hughes Software Systems. He was most recently head of global marketing at Aztecsoft Limited, responsible for strategic marketing, marketing operations and corporate marketing. In this role, he architected and executed corporate go-to-market strategy, services packaging and positioning, demand generation, bid management, corporate communication and branding.

    Sanjiv graduated with a B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India.
