JetSend Generic Sender
JetSend has revolutionized the computing Industry by decimating the need for device specific information integration onto devices taking part in data transfer. Consequently several devices are popping up with the Jetsend compliant tag. Now the need has come to test all these devices for their compliance. This has prompted us to develop a soft appliance capable of sending/receiving all possible Jetsend encodings. In short, this is a generic software that enables the end user for testing his device by being a Jetsend Sender or a Jetsend Receiver. This document describes the Generic Jetsend Sender soft appliance.
Being a generic sender it can address all kinds of receiver’s viz.; Jetsend Printer, Jetsend PC receiver soft appliance, proxy etc. It is just enough to type in the destination address of the receiver with the desired data in hand, the data will be transferred(Jetsend) to the receiver. Thus, Jetsend technology has made data transfer between devices so simple that it’s now enough just to specify the recipient address without configuring or installing any recipient device specific know-how onto the sending device. The following diagram illustrates the context on to which this generic sender exactly fits in along with some screen shots of the same.
