JetSend PrintRelay
The "JetSend PrintRelay" is a JetSend soft appliance (a term in JetSend jargon which refers to JetSend compliant devices or applications) which enables users "print" their bulk of data to their destinations, which may be a JetSend soft appliance or a JetSend device or even a destination Fax number or email ID. It uses the content-based JetSend protocol of HP, a protocol for robust device-to-device communication.
The PrintRelay soft Appliance has been developed using JetSend SDK version 1.0. The appliance depends on the following three primary areas of functionality that are part of the JetSend SDK.
HP JetSend is transport independent. JetSend devices can address each other directly over any bi-directional 1 transport using unique addressing. Possible transports include, but are not limited to, TCP/IP, SPX/IPX, IrDA, IEEE1284, and IEEE1394. A device can implement one or more transports allowing it to communicate with other devices using those same transports.
